I'm Deborah. I'm a writer, currently seeking representation/publication for my YA Fantasy Fractured Princess

I love to play Final Fantasy games and Shattered Pixel Dungeon. I also enjoy the many ins and outs of music (I'm a chorus geek).

IWSG Part 2: Introductions!

So I wrote my first post yesterday, and today I learn we're to introduce ourselves to the IWSG community. Sheesh. All the links and stuff I usually post are in the other post I posted. lol I'll make this brief.

HELLO! My name is Deborah, and I'm a writer from Delaware. My pen name is Debra McKellan. You can call me Deb. I've been writing since I was 7 years old, and my current focus is YA fantasy. I'm a Final Fantasy addict, hence the blog name and mage over that way ---->.

I'm also a Zumba instructor, singer/songwriter, and churchgoer. lol You may follow me on Twitter at @DebraMcKellan for writer stuff, and @QueenBDeb for non-writer stuff, though every now and then I retweet myself or talk about what I'm reading there.

  1. Hi again! Wow, I feel like you introduction is so much better than mine LOL!!! But really, this is great; hope your 2015 is rocking so far!

  2. I did the same exact thing, Debra. Somehow I missed the whole introduction thing. Oops. You're a Zumba instructor? WOW!! That is a difficult but fun class.

  3. Welcome to the IWSG, Deb!
You've come to the right place. This group is the most supportive bunch of writers I know.
Hope you have a wonderful and productive 2015!
Thank you for visiting my blog yesterday.

  4. Hi Deb! Welcome to IWSG. Where you can say just about anything and have people commiserate with you. I have a great feeling about 2015.

Just FYI, in the upper right hand corner of my blog is a link to my YouTube channel talking about the publishing industry along with goofball antics if you're interested.

It's great to connect with you.

  5. Very cool about the Zumba. I take that fairly regularly at my gym, though the fitness level seems to vary a lot depending on the instructor. There are a few who are great with high energy, and a few I stopped going to because it wasn't enough of a work out. If I've made it to the gym, I want to SWEAT! :) My fave fitness class is a dance fitness class called WERQ, so Zumba is a nice refresher between that.

Welcome to IWSG! I just started posting with them last year.
